Love is real.

The age old question, what is love? Why do we love? How do we love?

With Valentine's Day coming up I thought I'd tell you my experience with love. If you ask me there are different types of love. You can love a hobby or food with all your life. That's real and that's true. The type of love I'm talking about today involves people. If you've ever questioned if there is such a thing, I'm here to tell you there is.

I know there is such a thing as true love. I've experienced it and it's beautiful. You just know there is absolutely not one thing you would not do to bring a smile to their face. And it happens in an instant. You always dream of it and when it happens it takes control over everything and consumes you. You ask yourself how you ever lived without this being. All you want to do is hold them and love them and give them everything you have. You can't take your eyes off of them and you never want to. You worry about going to sleep because you could stay up all night looking at their beautiful perfect face. You'd give anything to be with them always. Your life changes right before your eyes. The best part is this person is yours. They belong to you. Forever and always, you'll be together. Till death do you part, and even after that you'll be with them because real love never dies.

Why do we love?
We can't help but love. We need to love people with all that we have to experience pure bliss. Everyone deserves to feel that. You give them all your heart and soul and the outcome will always be great. You'll get a sense of pride that you did this, you made this, this is you. The feeling of love is real and it's wonderful.

How do we love?
We just do! You can't describe it but when you feel it you'll know. You just know.

Love gives you life.

I know that I love my parents for giving me life.
My mother is the best person in the world, we've been through this. My stepdad is the best type of dad a girl could ask for. Blood does not make a parent a parent. I love my real dad because he's my dad! Without him I wouldn't be here. There isn't anything either of them could do to make me stop loving them. All my strength and weakness comes from the three of them. They all give me life.

I love my sisters for giving me life.
I love them for giving me great stories to tell people. We were fools for sure. I love them for teaching me what true friendship is all about. Without them my family wouldn't be as loud and large. They give me life.

I love my husband for giving me life.
I've never once questioned my love for him. My stepdad told me you don't know what love is until you have a child. The day I had Isabella the third thought that came to mind was, I really love David. And I still do. I like to think that it was love at first sight because to this day I remember being at that football game and him turning around and asking if I saw that tackle. It's like time froze. There was no one there but me and him. And when I think about it I can see it all in my head and I'm taken back to 2004. I thought I loved him but it wasn't until I had our baby that I knew I really did. We've literally grown up together and I can't wait to grow old together. He gives me life.

My life.
If you've ever read my About Me on my blog you'd know I said, "my life really began when I became a mom." And that's true. I live for my children. Ultimately they give me life. This whole post is dedicated to them. The true love i described is about the moment I met my kids and fell in love. My love for them wasn't instant. When I found out I was pregnant I wasn't happy. I hated myself for being careless. I didn't want to be a mom. Then I felt her kick. It took my breath away. I thought how beautiful life is. How lucky I was to even be able to have a baby. This baby was mine. If I had nothing else in the world, I'd always have her. And she's all I would ever need. Then when I found out I was expecting again I was not to thrilled. David and I weren't on the best of terms and I thought if I had this baby it would ruin mine and belle's life. But then I remembered saying the same thing about her and look how wonderful it's been. When we decided to work it out and have a baby we were excited but I worried I wouldn't love her how I love belle. I thought I loved Isabella so much there's just no way I could possibly love another baby like I love her. I loved the baby, I was just scared she would always be second best. I was more worried on the day we went to be induced. But then she came into the world and I saw her and fell in love all over again. All those emotions and feelings I had when I first saw Isabella I had for Anastasia. My heart grew and I learned I could love both my girls equally. When they met and belle held her for the first time it was beautiful. My whole life was sitting right in front of me. Two little girls that neither of them I asked for stole my heart. All that I was, all that I am, and all that I'll ever be are in those two little girls. That curly wild hair baby and that big baby of mine were just that. They are mine. They give me life.

Without my parents I wouldn't be here. Without my sisters I wouldn't have had such a great childhood. Though my childhood was cut short, I met David when I was just a kid and together we made Isabella. Then just as I was out of my teens we were blessed to have another and name her Anastasia. They keep me crazy and sane all at the same time. They make the past beautiful, the present great, and the future bright. They make life worth living. I started my parenting journey younger then most but there's still not one thing I would change. I love this life I have with them.

Love gives you life.

There may be different types of love, and you may love people differently, but love is definitely real. And when you truly experience it, it's wonderful.

To my two girls, I love yall with all my heart and soul.

MAMA DRAMA.

Lemme tell you bout mama drama!

Definition:
when you have something that puzzles you as a mom so you refer to your mother or other mommy friends or anyone you look up to as a mom for advice.

The creation of mama drama:
First off I wanna be the Gretchen Wieners of #mamadrama and say that I made up my own definition for it. Whenever I have that thought of, "Ughhhh! What should I do?!" its followed by "ima call my mama!" I guess you could also say it doesn't have to always be about your kids to have mama drama because I be calling my mama a lot with questions!!! After all mother knows best! I just wish I learned that sooner :/ unfortunately I didn't learn that till about 5 minutes after I had my first child...sorry mama.

On that note I'd like to add where I got the idea to forever go to my mother for my problems. (Other then the fact it all literally clicked after having a baby that she was always right.) At my baby shower there was a box where guest could write down inspiring quotes, mommy tips, what not to do, what I should do, stuff like that. I don't remember what they all said but I do remember what one said. It was from my best friends mom and it said, "when all else fails give her to grandma." I thought it was simple yet sweet and beautiful all at the same time. I also have to thank my mom for allowing me to keep my baby and I felt lucky that if I ever got to that mommy breakdown moment I could just go downstairs and knock on her door. So thanks mom.

I also have to admit I find myself having mama drama now rather then when my child was an infant. Isabella was a crybaby and oh so complicated, but I did well with her! Now that she's older I'm calling my mom more with questions and frustrations on what to with her. A lot of it is school related. Like the other day I asked if it was okay if she used Siri to do homework. Which I'm still conflicted with, I'm open for your thoughts if you'd like to chime in about that situation. But my mother says it's fine so I allowed it. And she was using it on an extra credit project so I wasn't too worried about it.

I tend to call my mom a lot more about my beautiful mess Anastasia. She doesn't see Anastasia as much as she sees Isabella because we live so far but when she does see her she understands everything I say about her lol.

Some people think I'm too close to my mom but really she's my best friend! I hope to have the relationship I have with her with my own kids. I'll probably call her when I'm old and be like hey mom I'm trying to figure out (insert old people problem here) what should I do? And she's probably going to be like "well I know I did (old person problem) and liked it but I know someone who (old problem) and they liked it too. But I would suggest you (old problem solved)." You can say whatever you want about my relationship with my mother but she's the only mom I have. I will never get another. And as a mother myself, I'm so grateful for her. I get compliments all the time how well behaved my children are and they say it's a sign of my good parenting. I have my mom to thank for that. She says its a sign of her mothers parenting and I can only hope my children turn out to be such good mothers as well. I'm thankful to have such a wonderful mom that I can go to in times of need and she doesn't blow me off.

So that's about it! If you ever find yourself stumped on an issue of some sort let me be the first to say YOU HAVE MAMA DRAMA! And if you're reading this and don't have children, you'll know exactly what I mean about it all clicking that your mom, or mother figure of some sort was always right. After all moms only want what's best for their babies, so if the 1st lady says not to do it, don't do it.

Here's my wonderful mama and my girls!

And here's my mothers mama's legacy 😉

See yall next time!
xoxo,
Susan.

10 things I'm thankful for.

I told yall why halloween is my favorite holiday, so I figured I'd tell yall ten things I'm thankful for on thanksgiving.

1. My kids.
Duhh. Lol. I'm not sure where my life would be without them and even though I had them younger then I had ever anticipated, I'm thankful for them.

2. My husband.
Without him I wouldn't have my beautiful girls and for that i am forever thankful.

3. My health.
Right now I'm actually really sick and it sucks, but it could be worse.. My eyes aren't in the best of shape but they are healthy. I'm thankful I'm alive and living well.

4. A home.
A lot of people take this for granted. I watch a lot of pbs since we did away with cable about a year ago and some people are happy to have a nice size hut and fan in their room while I live in a 3 bedroom air conditioned house. I'm thankful I live in America for sure. And not all Americans have the luxury of living indoors and my prayers go out to them. Even if your living situation isn't exactly where you want to be, be thankful you have some place to rest your head at night.
(This us our backyard btw. Beautiful.)

5. Food.
We may not have a lot of it sometimes but we always have enough. I'm thankful my family gets to eat more then once a day. Food is another thing people take for granted. The local food ministry feeds hundreds of families daily and I know my few cans of food wont make a huge difference, but they do make a difference. So I'm thankful for food.

6. Family.
I have my moms side, dads side, step dads side, and all are pretty big and loud lol. I love it! Then there's my five sisters and seven nieces and nephews with one on the way. It's fun to go home at Christmas and see everyone and it's like every Christmas in the past like as if I didn't live so far away. And even though I live 984 miles from home, I still keep in touch with my family and they've always been so supportive in anything I do and I'm thankful to have that family bond.

I'm also thankful my family visits me!

7. My cat max.
Shut up if you're already thinking omg.. He's my baby boy! And I even tell my mom randomly thank you for letting me get him and then I tell David thank you for allowing him to live with us. He's mean and rude but those dead animals remind me he loves me and I love him. I'm thankful for my cat max. Life without a pet is boring to me.

8. Internet connection.
SO THANKFUL FOR INTERNET! My blog, facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Netflix, I mean really I don't know what I would do without it. That's terrible but whatever. We're all guilty of it. Especially if you're reading this!

9. My job.
I work part time to get out the house and socialize with adults. I may not be the bread winner but I am thankful I have a job because without it I'd probably be in a mental institution. Staying home is hard! Taking care of the house and kids is hard! So whether I'm working as a mom or my paid job, I'm thankful I'm fortunate enough to stay home and take care of the house and kids and also thankful for the little bit if extra income.

10. My life.
I'm thankful for shoes, clothes, my hair, arms and legs, honestly I'm happy I'm alive. I'm thankful God has allowed me to live such a wonderful life. Of course I've had my bad days but the good outweighs the bad always. I love driving down the parkway and seeing to mountains. I love that my kids are happy and healthy. They're so smart and very well behaved. Our car may not be the best or prettiest but I'm thankful we have a car. I went to school for paralegal studies then decided it wasn't for me. I beat myself up for not going back to school because I don't know what to go back for. When I think about it I'm living the life I always wanted really. To be able to be a housewife and take care of the kids. I'm young and college will always be there when I'm ready. I plan to get a full time job when both kids are in school full time but till then I'm content.
(My bitty babies! 😔)

Just because today is thanksgiving doesn't mean you should reflect on the year only today. I thank god all the time for everything. Even for the pretty flowers I'm like thank you lord those are beautiful you did a good job and thank you for allowing me to see them. It's the simple things in life that make me happy.

So that's what I'm thankful for. Hope you all have a happy thanksgiving and eat a lot of wonderful food!  And remember to be thankful everyday not just today.

Much love,
Susan.

Ps. I used older pictures for throwback Thursday lol.

costume reveal!

Just kidding! I'm doing mom shit as usual on this Saturday night lol.

Kids are in bed and I'm laying on the floor playing with the cat, watching (listening to) orange is the new black, debating on whether or not to put those clothes up, eating Oreos and strategizing my new diet/workout plan, laughing at #funnyvideos #catsinclothes #halloween on Instagram and being jealous of everyone in costume tonight!

Not sure why I haven't grabbed that pillow to lay on...

If you're wondering about the baby wipes, I use them to wipe my makeup off when I'm too lazy to use soap and water. Don't judge.

My feet really aren't that big but I'm obviously wearing David's socks and they like fluff up if I don't pull them up. If you wear your mans socks you should know this struggle. Why am I wearing his socks? His are longer and warmer then mine lol. I'm also aware that they do not match...my socks match like three weeks out the year and that's only because they're new. Once they've been worn and washed they'll never match again.

My pajama pants are the Siamese cats from lady and the tramp. Of course I'd have disney pajamas on!

Just wanted to fool yall for a bit! This has been a real #confessionsofahousewifee.

Goodnight world!

xoxo,
Susan.

P.s.
Yall should totally search those hashtags! They're great!

why halloween is my favorite holiday

A lot of people ask why I love the halloween season so much so here are my reasons:

1- it's a crafters dream!
To be able to make a costume is fun enough, but sometimes we need an excuse why we're making one. Not all crafters are as insane as I am and need a costume for any big event lol. It's hard for me to believe some folks ONLY dress up on Halloween. So sad. It is the reality for most people, so Halloween lets them purge on costume design and making.

2- I love the colors!
The fall colors of the trees, the Halloween associated colors, the pink for breast cancer awareness, I love them all! I live down the street from The Great Smoky Mountains and you don't know fall colors till you've seen them in the park! BEAUTIFUL! Probably one of the prettiest sights I've ever seen. If you've never been, Google it. Gorgeous! My favorite Halloween colors are purple, gold, and green. I love the classic orange and black but ever since I saw Minnie's dress at the Not So Scary Halloween Party I've been obsessed. Pink for breast cancer awareness is pink, need I say more?

3- The taste!
Pumpkin spice everything please! I can't get enough of it! Yeah, I'm one of those girls lol.

4- scary movies!
I'm a HUGE fan of the horror genre and special effects makeup. To make someone look like they have a knife in their stomach and are bleeding but really aren't is beautiful to me. The time it takes to look the part and act the part so viewers think you're really dying is true art. I have so much respect for the horror industry. I only wish I could make such neat things.

5- cool weather!
I said cool not cold! After long hot summers it's nice to have a breeze.

6- I only party on Halloween!
I'm a mom and although I'm a young mom, I hung my party hat up years ago. I don't feel the need to go out to any party unless it involves a kids birthday, pampered chef, stuff like that. However on Halloween I RAGE! My kids and husband know this is the one night a year I am allowed to go out (or stay in) but get as stupid as I want and none of them care because it's one night a year. At 11pm on Halloween night I end my shift as a mommy and dust off my party hat and have the most fun possible! I get ONE night a year to act my age so I take full advantage! The next day my mommy duties continue and I struggle, but it's all worth it for one night a year to enjoy myself and relieve myself from all my motherly and wifey duties. Everyone needs a break! I don't need one all the time, nor do I want one all the time, but once a year I do need it!

7- it's the only time of year my son is accepted!
I have a black cat and he is my son, my baby boy. Throughout the year no one cares about black cats. In October they're everywhere! Most of the stores that carry anything halloween related will have something with a black cat on it. I love it! To see what looks identical to my baby boy on a mug is pretty neat. Some people probably think I got him because of my love for Halloween but I didn't. My friends cat had kittens and I wanted one but my mom said it had to be a boy. Boys are less of a hassle said my mother, who is also the mother to nothing but girls! How she came to that logic I'll never know.   I forget how many kittens were in the litter but I do remember they kept one boy, maybe two, but all that I had to chose from was the little black one. So I took him! It was destiny.

8- candy!
It's candy and it's my favorite word, FREE! How awesome is that?! You say trick or treat and you get candy! I might have more children just so I can get more candy lol! Just kidding. Kinda.

9- the magic of halloween!
Whenever my kids put their costumes on I'm always like "oh hi strawberry shortcake! Have you seen Isabella?" And she replies, "moooommmm!! It's me! Isabella you're daughter!" And I always say "I didn't recognize you!!" So they really think they're the character of choice 😊 I think it's adorable. They'll even tell me, "mom that lady called me Elsa. She thought I was the real Elsa!" The magic of halloween!

10- our family tradition!
I always hoped to one day have a family of my own and start a tradition to be passed down for future generations. Our very first family tradition came by accident but has been a tradition for the past 3 years that we've lived in tennessee, we carve our pumpkins the night before halloween! The first year we had to wait for dad to have a day off to help and he only had one day off a week and it was usually the day before halloween because he had to work on Halloween. And it's happened like that ever since! He now has halloween off but we still carve the night before!

So that's why I love halloween!

Witching you a very spooky Halloween,
Susan.

What No One Tells You About Baby #2

I thought in honor of one of my bestest in Texas having a baby (she had her a few weeks ago I'm late posting this lol) I'd blog about the life changes baby number two brings. I remember when we found out we were expecting baby number two. Isabella was such a good child I thought "oh this will be a breeze!" Ha! If only it were that easy.

First there's the car.

If big brother/sister is in a car seat it's easier to put them in first!! I learned that the hard way. I thought oh I'll put the baby in since she's easier to strap in and then I'll put belle in.. I also keep my clicker to the car on me AT ALL TIMES! Why? Because Isabella likes to locks me out the car. There were a couple of times I'd start the car, get the heater going (both were winter babies) and while I'm buckling little sister there's 4yr old big sister hoping from front to back and touching all the buttons! Wouldn't ya know her favorite is the lock button. Kids, such wonderful little people. So I keep my clicker on me and learned to buckle the big one first! Once the big one learns to buckle themselves life gets a lot easier. Prayers to you if you nurse. Numerous times I've pulled over to feed the babe. It can delay your time to your destination but breast is best!

Now let's talk about breast feeding.

I don't think I need to explain the benefits of breast feeding. It's the best thing you can give your baby, but every baby is different and every parent is different so if you chose not to no judgement here! With belle I was discreet about my nursing. I went to the bathroom, different room, closet, anywhere not to be seen! With saige I didn't care. I was giving my baby the best form of food and once I even told a couple at a restaurant "Why don't you eat with a blanket over your head!" I was never one of those moms to just pop it out, I did cover myself so no one saw my nipple but once she was latched I took it off. Half the time no one even knew she was feeding till they would try to touch her and I was like, "I'm feeding!" Difference between one and two, number two you don't care who sees you feed that baby!

That brings me to our next topic, outings.

It doesn't get easier. I'd love to tell you it does but it doesn't. I have yet to conquer the fine art of grocery shopping with two. When number two first came number one was upset there was no room in the basket for her to ride. When a car cart was available we took it and that was nice till little sister grew up and wanted to drive too. When number one outgrew the car number two wanted to walk like a big girl too. And with both walking they're touching stuff and talking and it's a mess. I recently went shopping at Walmart and they're the only grocery store in town that has the carts with two seats for bigger little kids. I might forever be grocery shopping there now. When it came to stroller shopping I wanted a double stroller. I knew Isabella wouldn't want to walk anywhere we went, I know my child. My mom always said you never want to buy a stroller you can't open by yourself or is hard to push with one hand. So off to babies r us we went for a new stroller. Belle hated the double strollers! She said she was content with walking so I bought a single stroller. I should have went with my gut because wouldn't ya know it number one hates walking!
Numerous times they'd opt to ride like this. Big sisters and the power they have over little sisters..

Life with two is such an adventure. It's so much different then I thought it would be. My girls are 4 years and 4 days apart, if yours are older or younger I'd love to hear your stories! These are a few of my "what no one ever tells you about baby number two" tips lol. And yes I actually call my children one and two. I've found it easier to number them personally. If you're thinking of number two I will tell you this, I enjoyed growing up with siblings and I love watching my two play together and grow together. Don't let this article scare you away from number two. Two is a lot different then I had originally anticipated.. (Like, A WHOLE LOT!) but it has been such a joy!

Thanks for reading! Hope you've enjoyed a look into life with two! Now time to regulate my hooligans..

This has been a real true, #confessionsofahousewifee.

xoxo,
Susan.

Halloween table

Welcome once again to another diy!

Today we will be making candle sticks, cake display, and floral centerpiece. All of which cost me $8.76 to make! Hollaaaaaa!!

I'm a Pinterest junkie and when I saw these Dollar store candles, I knew I HAD to make them! I did mine on the cheap (yes, cheaper then the dollar store!) because the dollar store didn't have the candle holders lol. So here's how to make mine:
  • Candles- $0.20
  • Candle holders- $1.18 for two
  • Paint- FREE from my craft corner!

As you can see my candlesticks were oddly colored so i had to paint them. I bought these at goodwill btw.

I was going to paint the holders but I think I like them as is. Gives them character ;)

The cake stand, also Pinterest inspired. There are tonsssss of tutorials on different ones but this is mine:
               *plate $0.79
               *candle holder $0.59

(Bought from goodwill as well)

I was also going to paint these but once again I dig them as is. So next all you do is glue! I used E6000. Why? I don't know just didn't wanna plug in my glue gun and I know it's a good glue lol. I did however put a my organizer aka my binder on top to secure the hold till it dried.

See^^ lol

Floral centerpiece, I always have something of this sort on my table and last years was cute but BASIC. This year I stepped it up a notch but kept it simple.

             ~vase $1.00
             ~flowers $2.00
~purple and orange things? (If you know the real name good for you) $2.00
             ~spider ribbon $1.00
~hay lookin stuff..(again good for you if you know the real name lol) FREE from craft corner.
It was left overs from my mason jar floral arrangement I currently have on the table for summer.

(Don't mind those skeletons I'm not sure what to do with them yet lol)

I put the hay stuff in and the flowers came with cute spiders so I put them in there as well. It looks super creepy! To me anyways lol. Then I arranged the flowers and purple and orange things. And when I say arranged I mean I threw them in there. I'm no florist. And I like to let my hands be free and do whatever feels best to them. That's art people. Embrace it!

If you have a black cat nearby get their approval on anything halloween related. Max approves.

Finally add ribbon with a cute bow and done!!

(Tablecloth from Joann's was $4.99, I just bought it right before I took this picture teehee☺️)

Don't mind those pumpkins I'm still unsure what to do with them but I had nothing else to put on the stand at the moment. Those are from the dollar store, but I did not include them in the total cost because they are from last year. My kids colored faces on them.. Anywho, special thanks to my little sister Claire for taking weird pics of her eye on my iPad! And shout out to my mom for the birthday money she sent which I used for these items 😊 money well spent if you ask me! Hope you all enjoyed my little tutorial! Happy crafting!

Xoxo,
Susan.

easy CHEAP diy sign

Welcome to my first diy!

I cannot help getting into the Halloween spirit already! I thought a Welcome sign would be cute this year for our door. I debated on making this because I wanted to keep my wreath, but also thought of making a new one. Instead our wreath from last year will now be placed on our columns and I may or may not make new ones to go on the other ones.. we'll see. Either way I knew when I saw this cardboard (in the trash) that it could be used for something much more wonderful. Who's down for saving our wonderful mother Earth?? ME!

Anywho, so lets get started!!

Things you'll need:
*cardboard cut into a rectangle
(you could use something else but this was
free and available lol)
*paint
*pencil
*ribbon
*glue gun
*modge podge
*optional plastic spider

First cut to your desired size. I honestly found it like this and kept it as is.

Then you'll write what you want on it. I threw round A BUNCH of ideas and when it came down it my husband and I decided on a simple "Welcome" and what everyone likes to call the "Beetlejuice" stripe. It is very forgiving if you decide to write and then erase on the board. (trust me I did like 5 designs before I settled.)

Next you paint. I used acrylic paint because it's what I had on hand in my craft corner.

After that you modge podge. I did one coat just for gloss because we have a pretty large covered porch and I know the sign will not get wet or ruined. Otherwise I'd do a few more protecting coats and maybe use something other then cardboard for an outdoor sign. Totally do-able for an indoor sign though! :)

And here is my finished product! I had a random plastic spider that I glued on so it gave it more of a "Halloween" look. I'm also probably going to add a rhinestone or black rhinestone to the bow but haven't decided yet.

That's it! Super simple and super cheap! This sign cost me $0.00! My favorite! So next time you're throwing something away think of the beauty it can bring. Happy crafting!

love always,
Susan.

intro!

for those of you who don't already know me, I'm Susan :)
I'm 23.
mother of two.
i don't care much for grammar.. (crazy right considering I'm writing a blog lol)
i love animals.
even though I'm young, I've pretty much been there and done that.
Texas raised and living in Tennessee since 2011.
i love love love to craft!

when i moved to Tennessee i was a stay at home mom but my kids literally drove me crazy, so i got a part time job. which is great for me considering we didn't have any friends or family and i needed adult conversation.

let me introduce my family:

David is my husband. well not really, I've been with him since i was 14 but we're not married. i love him to death and want to marry him, but i also want a big wedding. if it takes a few more years to plan and save for it I'm fine with that. i deserve it! and we've made it this long..

Isabella is our oldest daughter. i found out i was pregnant with her the end of my sophomore year in high school and delivered the week before Christmas break of my junior year. my life before her was drugs, parties, and obviously a little bit of sex in the mix.. ( sorry mom but its true..) she truly saved me. she is such a little lady. she has perfect manors, makes excellent grades, she has curly light brown hair and is always so sweet! her sister on the other hand...well she's why i decided to get a part time job when i didn't have too..

Anastasia is the little/big sister. she's always been big for her age and bless her she is such a brute. i found out i was pregnant with her my 2nd year in college...and if you haven't put the pieces together yet, my girls are four years and four days apart. needless to say David doesn't even look at me in the month of march! she has long straight light brown hair, she's not very nice, she can be a sweetie from time to time, she has okay manners,  but she's so adorable it's impossible not to love her! even when she's mean!

my parents split when i was little. my dad and i keep in touch over the phone and he's drove up here before. my mom aka Mimi to the kids, is probably one of the best moms on the planet! she's done an excellent job raising my sisters and myself. before i got pregnant we both thought the parents were to blame when kids did stuff that wasn't acceptable. but then when i got pregnant i told her it wasn't anything she did wrong. she did everything right. but what can i say, teenagers will be stupid teenagers! she's always taught me you live and you learn and the day i had belle it all just clicked. i was like wow my mom was right all along! but you can't tell a teen that because they know everything..

my step dad mike has been with my mom since i don't know when. forever it seems. my kids know him as pop pop. it was so funny because belle would say all these words and she would never say grandpa. then one day she just called him pop pop and the rest is history! i also have him to thank for my well being. he's played a pretty big role in my life as well. i saw how great of a dad he was to my sisters and i and i had always hoped one day my kids would have a good dad like him. and luckily they do! i know my real dad meant well and I'm sad we barely formed a relationship but it's better late then never.

my parents went from two grand kids to seven in a year.

i have a million sisters! well actually just five.

there's Kat, she's my blood sister. (same mom, same dad) she's four years older then me. (we're just like my kids!) she's a lesbian and we all adore her wife Meghan! they have four cats who are like our nieces and nephews. she's seriously been there and done that and back again! i admire her for her strength and courage to make the trip to hell and back so many times. she doesn't go anymore thank god.

Tiffany is my step sister. she has two kids, a boy and a girl. pathan and haze is what we call them. she's the definition of miss.independent! i praise her for that all the time!!

Alicia is my step sister. she has three kids, Michael the poop, and the twins jayla for layla. again, those are our nick-names for them. i pray for her all the time. i lose my mind with my two kids. i couldn't imagine twins and then another! she's crazy and i like to be mean to her, but she knows i love her.

Amby is my other step sister. she has no kids! she's in her 2nd year of college...honestly she is the only sister i don't keep up with so I'm not sure what her major is. if it wasn't for facebook i wouldn't even know her birthday. I'm not sure why but it's like i go brain dead when it comes to her lol. she is doing everything the "right" way if there is such a thing. I'm proud she never gave into the life of crime or anything crazy like that.

Claire is my half sister. same mom, different dads. we're ten years apart. she spends the summers with me. poor kid will never get away with anything because our parents know all the tricks thanks to us. she's always acted a little older then her age, again thanks to us. i love being incredibly stupid with her! i probably miss her the most.

so now you know myself and the people i will most likely mention in my blogs. just wanted to give you an introduction to my family so you wouldn't be lost in some of my post. i like to ramble so i hope you all like to read!

till next time!
